Boston Blading’s goal is to keep the rollerblading community alive and well in Boston. Our goal is maintain a positive and fun community of skaters that support each other and the sport.
Boston is one of the best cities to skate in. It's known as the walking city which means everything is close together. That means you can skate there even faster! Also, imagine skating to work, that's way more fun than walking or taking the stinky t. While everyone's walking around and riding the sweaty t with other smelly people you can be outside seeing the whole city and having fun on your wheels. And with your skates you can maneuver around people and turns much easier than bikes.
There's also some of the best places to skate that are dedicated to activities like it. There are miles of paved paths that run next to the Charles River and Memorial Drive is closed on Sundays for recreational activities such as skating.
